Prerequisites for ESS App

Before you begin using the Employee Self Service (ESS) application, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

1. ERPNext Setup:

   The ESS app is designed to work seamlessly with ERPNext. Make sure you have ERPNext installed and properly configured in your organization.

2. Frappe HR Module:

   The Frappe HR module should be installed and set up. This includes configuring employee records, attendance, leave policies, and other HR-related settings.

3. User Accounts:

   Each employee should have a user account in ERPNext. Ensure that the necessary user roles and permissions are assigned for accessing the ESS app features.

4. Network and Security:

   Ensure that your ERPNext instance is accessible over the network.

5. Mobile Device Compatibility:

   The ESS app is designed for use on mobile devices. Ensure that your employees have compatible devices with internet access to utilize the app effectively.

6. Nesscale Registration:

   You must register with Nesscale for your ERPNext URL to enable the mobile app license for that particular URL. For more details, check the "How to Register" page.
